best electric cars in the world image

Leopardo
Due to high prices of petroleum nowadays its great to use electric cars. It's not only economical but environmental friendly. No noise pollution and no pollution of the air. But do you know when will the U.S. or any other countries who is making electric cars start selling these electric cars in the world market and how much will be the price compared to fuel run cars??
Answer
In response to Nata T, that's such a common misconception it's getting ridiculous. Look at California, where only 16.6% of the state's electricity comes from Coal. Compare that to something like Ohio, where that figure is more like 60%. So it all depends on where you live.
Plus, with all the government regulations on renewable energy sources, those numbers will only fall because of increased construction of renewable sources of electricity (solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, tide, wave, hydro, etc).
As for the original question... Grab a snickers, it'll be a while. With the big three struggling to make a buck, vying for your tax money so that they can give their cars away at 0 profit and just produce more of the same crap that nobody wants, it definitely won't come from the big three. Plus other interests are at stake that will slow any attempt at changing the automobile infrastructure. Exxon/Mobil, Chevron, Conoco Phillips, etc.

I was wondering if the electric car was really dead. Can you purshase an electric vehicle (not a hybrid)?
I watched the documentary "how killed the eletric car?" and was just wondering about it, since the technology cleary exists; Is there a way to get an electric car anywhere in the world?
Answer
Sure you can buy them but they are either a) not all that good or b) pretty darn good and very expensive.
The documentary was rather lop-sided and didn't explain that electric cars still suffer from short battery life for everyday driving.
You can buy an electric car right now at www.zapworld.com, but you'll need maybe $75,000 for a "real car".
