Is the restaurant where you sit in car seats any good? Has anyone ever eaten there?
Answer
There are a few restaurants in each park that are very good places to eat. Here are a few of our favorites:
Disney Studios:
Sci-Fi Drive in - eat in cars while watching old sci-fi movie footage. Food was great, price not outrageous (as compared to other Disney restaurants), and the atmosphere was really cool. We ate here when we visited in March, and my kids loved it.
50's Prime Time Cafe - Eat in a kitchen with "Mom" or "Auntie" as your server. Better eat all your veggies and keep your elbows off the table, or you will hear about it. Food was good, pretty much what you would expect from a 50's type restaurant.
Hollywood Brown Derby - Signature dining for Disney. More of an upscale place to eat. Good food, but more of a fancy meal than a fun one, in my opinion.
Mama Melore's Restorante Italiano - Outstanding italian food, Great atmosphere.
Epcot:
Le Celier - Canada - Good steakhouse. The food was excellent and the price was not as bad as I expected, for a restaurant on Disney property.
Nine Dragons restaurant - China- some of the best Chinese food that I have ever had. Nice selection, decent prices.
La Cantina De San Angel - Mexico - Excellent for Mexican cuisine, and I am not a big fan of the spicy food. You sit along a waterway and eat with an exploding volcano in the background. One of our top 5 in all of Disney.
Biergarten restaurant - Germany - I love German food, and this buffet was worth every penny.
The only restaurant I do not recommend in Epcot is the Electric Umbrella or the American Pavillion in the U.S.A. These were not so good when we tried them, food was dry an pretty tasteless, not worth the money.
Those are our favorites for the places you asked about, but there are a whole bunch more. I would suggest checking out the disboards. The disboards is a message boards website all about going to Disney. You can get restaurant reviews and suggestions, resort reviews, tips for avoiding crowds, and more info than you can possibly imagine. I would also check out the Disney website and use their dining finder. Tons of info there as well.
Hope this helps, have a great trip!

Americans, with their views and opinions towards China.?

Pluvieux
One of the first things that I hear when I ask an American about China is, well... "Communist".
Some Americans even tend to go off on nationalistic spiels regarding Chinese Communism.
My first question is: "Really?" Do you really despise Communism that much? I honestly don't think so. Rather, I believe that you've grown up with anti-communist ideals ingrained into you. If you view China's current political situation from a neutral standpoint, it isn't as horrific as you make it out to be. I feel that those who take a radical stance against Communism are either
1. Cold War kids, or
2. Bandwagoners.
It makes me sick, how anti-Chinese sentiments even manage to worm their way into politics, and mass media. Although the Media cannot be regulated in such a manner, even some political figures have expressed slightly nationalistic views. Al Gore once twittered about the Chinese's plan to build an electric car within a couple of years. He then made a comment, stating "If the Chinese can do it, why can't we? We can't let them win! Let's go, America!"
That statement could be taken both ways. Moving right along, The baby boomer and post-baby boomer generation should know how Japanese brands like Toyota formerly built knockoffs of American cars. Have we not learned from that? Instead, we now have Yankees trolling over the internet, lashing out at any news of a Chinese car.
My question here is: What's your viewpoint on China?
Answer
I am anti-Chinese Communism not because I'm American... I am against them because of what they are doing to their people...
The national internet censorship...
The fact that Theistic Chinese Citizens can be arrested, beaten, and held without trial just because they believe in a religion.
Because they refuse to allow people to remember what happened back in 1989...
Tiananmen 20th anniversary brings new repression

The government of China doesn't give a sh*t about their people... They just want to make sure that their twisted ideals continue unchanged and unhindered by their population getting 'Uppity' and wanting such things as not being hauled off in the night by the police for no reason known outside the minds of those doing the illegal kidnapping and imprisonment.
I hate the Chinese Government because they are keeping their people in a state of perpetual poverty with no right of representation.
Their human rights violations number in the millions and yet no one is doing a damn thing about it.
Their workers are being paid fractions of a penny with no recourse if they are sickened by being exposed to toxic chemicals.
Their companies are allowed to withhold wages if their employees are caught talking about the poor conditions in the factory or if they are caught having sex while on their off hours.
They foster abuse and molestation of their populous and that is evil. Flat out wrong and evil.
