A RAYMAN
hi i am looking to buy car which can run by electric charge per charge should be 300 miles . is have any this kind of car .. ???
Answer
There is no electric car for sale on the open market, because Chevron, Toyota and GM conspired to eliminate plug-in cars by stopping use of the proven NiMH Nickel batteries.
You can put in an order for the Tesla, but it will take until 2010 for delivery, there is a backlog. And the Tesla uses inferior Lithium batteries which don't have the lifespan of the NiMH.
Just recently, on Mar. 27, the California Air Resources Board agreed to let GM out of their promise to build either fuel cell cars or battery EVs.
We know they can do so, they just don't want to.

who killed the electric car?

colton m
GM killed it and todaay announced they will have an electric car by 2010 but also stated a 10% chance it won't work and will only go 40 miles. It's a dirty joke on the public. OIl and money controls us. They don't care if it makes the middle east rich and pollutes our air. It's all about money. I wouldn't buy a GM car or any of their products. The whole deal STINKS! What say you?
Answer
Don't wait for GM. And don't listen to the people who are trying to tell you there's been no progress in battery research in 30 years. Take a look at this vehicle, which is being manufactured right now:

*
The Phoenix electric pickup truck - using new, advanced Altairnano batteries (based on research from MIT) - can:
-Travel up to 250 miles per charge
-Carry 5 passengers plus cargo at 95mph.
-Charges batteries in as little as TEN MINUTES.
-Has batteries that last 250,000 miles (never need replacement.)
