With gas prices soaring, it's getting......?

too expensive for me to fill my mini-van. I need this larger vehicle to transport my kids to school and car pool to work with my co-workers. We also use it to take my kids soccer team around. I'm doing my part by ride sharing etc. But given that it's so expensive to fill up, Obama says that I should buy a new hybrid or electric car.
A. How am I supposed to ride share with a small car, and
B. If I can't afford gas, how can I afford new car payments?
Is this Obama's answer to high gas prices? Buy a new car?

A. Dont listen to Poster 1. You know its costing too much to fill your reasonably priced, economical used car.
And yes, President Obama would have you buy a brand new car, not save on kid's college education..
B. He can build Oil pipelines (instead of saying NO to Keystone XL.. why?) and stop putting MORATORIUMS on energy production, he is an anti-USA President, and yes, Obama IS socialist.
C, Bootstraps is an Obama rally word. The thing is, EVERYTHING is costing more under Obama, how do you think unconstitutional Healthcare was paid for, bailouts, stimulus, etc.

if I have a family (i.e., kids, wife) i would choose the Camry or Accord depending on the price tag. I like both of these cars because they are very reliable, safe, good on gas consumption. If well maintained these two manufacturers can last up to 15+ years or 200k+ miles easily. Ohh! these are facts by the way there are data proving these claims (Consumer's Report). In the long run you can save thousands of dollars because you don't have to buy another car for the next decade.

Now, if I was still young and active the Honda Civic will be my choice to drive around the cities because this car is very popular amongst the 18+ age group. This is also a good second car or a daily driver, meaning you can drive to work and school everyday without worrying about breaking down on you. The car is very lightweight and small that it will save you money on gas.

As of today, Toyota Prius is the ultimate electric-gas powered (Hybrid) vehicle in today's automotive market. Environmentalist like this particular model because it's practically almost emission-less. The technological combination of electric and gas translates to less emission of carbon monoxide, which is the leading cause of global warming. In addition, this car can also save you gas money.
