Answer
There are two songs that play during the end credits of Super 8. The first song playing right when the credits start is Don't Bring Me Down by Electric Light Orchestra. After the mini movie, The Case, plays during the end credits, "My Sharona" by The Knack plays. This song is also played during the movie itself, when the kids are singing while waiting for the girl to pick them up in her dad's car to shoot the movie scenes at the train station.

There are 11 songs in total in Super 8. You can find the songs, notes on the scenes they were in and downloads for them here:

how to convince my parents to let me get my motorcycle license?!?

Bruce

okay so here's the deal. I'm 17 years old and i turn 18 in October. I really want a motorcycle but i'm pretty sure that my parents will say NO. I haven't really brought up the subject so much with my dad because when i did like a year ago he said that they are a "death trap" and i am aware of that. With my mom whenever i see a Kawasaki Ninja I comment on the bike saying i want one like that and she doesn't really say much about it.

the only thing i want them to do is to let me get my License. I want to take the MSF course along with my friend who currently got a motorcycle. That's it. I plan on getting a motorcycle once I work enough to get the money.

I want to be riding along with my friend by my birthday in october. my old plan was to wait till i turn 18 and just do everything myself and getting without their permission. the worst thing they'll do is be mad at me and ask that i sell it, but i won't.

the reason i want it right now is because i am very impatient. especially after my friend got his motorcycle. i have been into motorcycles since i was a kid. at one point my cousin had an electric pocket motorcycle and i wanted one too so my dad bought me a 600 dollar pocket gas motorcycle, and a 1000 dollar mini motorcycle for my older brother. if i reason with my dad i think he might let me, but how do i approach him about the subject? what do i bring up? should i say that either way i plan on getting one when im 18? or will that just cause him to say NO even more??
I also really want my own vehicle because i get tired of driving different cars around. I always have to ask my mom which one to take. my dad sort of wants to get me my own car too.
he was planning on getting me my own car as a graduation gift (which he still hasn't gotten me) he was going to get me the car i've always wanted. i 1965 mustang. but after talking to a few of his friends they convinced him not to because since they're old they always break down and need new parts and what not. so now i want to convince him to let me get a motorcycle! please help?!

Answer
It is going to be very difficult to change someone's views on a motorcycle. If I were you, just wait till you move out and get one. You still are young and have a full life ahead of you. You might be able to convince your dad, but there is no way you are going to convince your mother.

I don't see a problem waiting just a little longer until you can afford it yourself. Wait till you are 18 at least. My best friend who is 26 just bought him a new motorcycle. His mother cried for a week but I think she finally somewhat accepted it, even though she will never agree fully to him having a motorcycle. His dad didn't have much of a problem with it. You can be 60 years old, and your mother will still not want you to get a motorcycle.
