Answer
I don't know about hybrids but there no electric cars coming from any of those brands before 2012 and more likely 2014. And as for best hybrid it is a matter of taste and pocketbook. The best place to look is the websites for your brands of interest. If the car is available for sale it will be there with all of the specs.

What to buy; new or old car?

What is the best for long term durability, spending/maintainance, and the best reward if decided to sell it after like 5-7 years?
Also what is the best brand for young professionals? I need something small, sporty and luxurious in the same time?
Any thoughts/comments/ideas are appreciated!

Dear mie90001, Well as you know the more information you give me the better answer I will be able to advice you. First and foremost the most important thing to know when buying a care especially when you are buying a new car the second you sign on that piece of paper your name which is the Title immediately the value of the car drops 20 percent that's is the rule of thumb when ever you are looking to buy a car. Now you mentioned that you are looking to buy either a new or used car well there is a third option which is Pre-Owned dealer car which is the car is used by the dealership like a manager or top sales person who they use that car for their personal use and at the same time it's used as a show car when they drive it from home to work or Vice verse that car will be seen by people who are driving or where that person lives it's another way of Advertising the car without paying money on Ads. that car usually is driven for no more than 3000 miles and but it can not be sold as new since even if you put more than 99 miles on any car no matter if it's registered under the dealer name or anyone person name it's by law called used car.(all will come with bumper to bumper warranty plus under the hood warranty too). So that way the price of the car that 20 percent deduction of it's value is eaten up by the dealer and you still get a car which almost as a new car but less headaches from used one since you will never know the person who is selling his used car what kind of maintenance he or she did for the car. Another issue would you like to have a US made car or no? is your choice a sports car two door cars Four door cars, Electric or gas? if you are thinking in selling the car in 5-7 years and lets say you buy the car within the next 3 to 6 month you will be at a time where the new model cars will be coming out which they usually come out by Sept of every year so 2014 will be on the market by Sept. of 2013 Another issue will be will you like 4 cylinders VS 6 cylinder cars? you have so many questions that need to be answered to give you my best suggestions also if you are trying to keep the car for 5 to 7 years and lets say you have your wife would you try to keep that car for her then you upgrade to another one for yourself since you will have been the only one who driven that car and then you know the good the bad the ugly of that car you don't need then to go buy another car that you know anything about it. As for the brand you have so many to choose you have the BMW GM which now it's number one in the world which used to be Japanese cars. Lexus ES 350 among so many others.you have also leasing a car if the company you work for pays for mileage or gas also if you need that you can deduct it's costs on your federal income tax as a work expense. So please think about all then let me know I will advice you which will be the best choice for you. Good luck best wishes hope to hear from you soon. LET ME KNOW YOUR CHOICES
