- Tax year 2009, National Taxpayerâs Union: The top 10% of us paid 71% of all federal income taxes.
...but we should sacrifice our liberty by spending over half of our lives working...so they donât have to?
-7/12/12 (CNSNews.com): In a new report, Americans for Tax Reform, has calculated that Americans will spend a total of 197 days toiling to pay for the cost of government. "Cost of Government Day is the date of the calendar year on which the average American worker has earned enough gross income to pay off his or her share of the spending and regulatory burden imposed by government at the federal, state and local levels," reads the report.
Does anyone really believe that 42% of Americans really need to be wards of the state, unless the goal is to change -- no, âHope and Changeâ -- America into a European style welfare state?
Itâ my guess that the polls tell the whole story as to why:
-2/4/10 Gallup poll: 61% of liberals have a positive view of socialism.
-6/2/11 Gallup poll: 71% of democrats favor re-distributing wealth.
-Now the democrats have their national health care, the hallmark of all socialist and welfare state nations.

Well this will take a minute. Trying to argue taxes with liberals is like arguing with an ignorant 16 year old know it all.
First, CONSERVATIVES AREN'T COMPLAINING ABOUT WHO PAYS TAXES AND WHO DOESN'T. Let's try and remember how this argument started,,,,with Obama wanting to raise taxes on a few under the guise of 'fair share'. Which is ludcrious when considering the ones he wants to raise taxes on are already paying close to 90% of the income taxes collected. Just like a typical liberal to start an argument and then blame you for starting it.
Second,,,,THE QUESTION OBVIOUSLY STATES INCOME TAXES, NOT CONSUMER TAXES. Which the rich pay more of too, think about the 12% tax on my ferrari vs your the 12% tax on your vw bug. Think about all the taxes I pay with my lavish lifstyle vs your trying to save for your kids college. (I'm far from rich but trying to make a point)
Third,,,,, The rich put more back into the economy than all the middle class and poor together. A rich man has several cars, and many buy a new car yearly. Meanwhile a middle class person tries to keep his car ten years or longer. Think about simple things like house hold cleaners, a ten bedroom house vs a trailer. The electric bill for that ten bedroom house. The fact that a rich family takes up to three or four vacations a year vs one a year for most middle incomes and zero a year for poor people.
Fourth,,,,, THIS STATISTIC IS FOR WORKING PEOPLE AND RETIRED PEOPLE, NOT UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE. This comes from the IRS so if you don't even fill out a tax return, (unemployed) this does not even include you. As far as retired people go, again, nobody is complaining about people not paying taxes, just pointing out the stupidity of the 'fair share' argument. The retired people also are a low percentage of this stat as more people under the 200,000 mark are still working than retired.
This whole argument of 'fair share' has become the biggest attempted scam in years. The rich DO pay their fare share, they pay almost 90% of the income taxes collected. And when you start saying things like, "look how much money he has, he can afford to pay more", well,,,,your true intentions of wealth redistrubution and massive jealousy start to show. It's NONE of your business how much someone makes unless they have done something illegal, which liberals know this, which is why many have started pointing to crimes that aren't there. Liberals seem to think ALL rich people 'stole' their money.
One other stupid argument is to use the wealth gap,,,,wealth is accumulative, I did better than my dad, he did better than his dad,,,and so on. Billionaires were never heard of in the 70's or before. Meanwhile, while people accumulate more and more and build and build,,,,,ZERO will always be zero. The poorest person will ALWAYS be zero, while the richest person will keep climbing. So one end of the spectrum will never change while the other end HAS to climb,,,so this is a dumb argument.

My sister hates me over stupid stuff?
Okay my sister keeps blaming me that she doesn't have enough money. She lives in our other house that's pretty much hers. Her mortgage is paid for her electric and water she pays half of each. My Grandparents pay the other half. Everything else she pays on her own . and has to pay her tuition herself and she's a med student. She works overtime as a waitress at Denny's . She hates me because she says our grandparents didn't treat her the same. She Didn't get a nice Car at 16 she couldn't drive at 16 like I can. I don't even have a nice car I don't have the car I wanted a BMW convertible. I have a
2010 VW Bug Convertible my cars crap like hers. She drives a 1999 impala. She claims she had to get a job at 15 I don't want to work so I get a $1,000 allowance every month which isn't a lot of money I have to pay for my own gas ($85) and hair extensions ($250). shes says I waist money on my designer handbags collection which is bs. She had no friends as a teen not my fault I can't get a job interfere with my social life I'm popular and on the dance team. She is 21 and still is a loser she won't stop blaming me and wake up.
