Are these good gifts for an 18 year old?

I'm going to a 18th birthday party of a friend. I don't know what to get him, but so far I have a shower radio, remote controlled car, and electric ball shooter. Are these too childish? If so...can you give me some good ideas? He's a nice kid who is very smart if that helps.

These gifts are children. you should give him gift that suits his nature. If he likes any type of gaming you should give him latest versions of game of any PlayStation. If he likes reading then you should give him some books to his interest. And if he likes to watch movies or cartoon then you should give him movies he likes the most i.e. adventurous, action etc.

Think well about his nature then select the gift which suits him better.

When you were a little kid and your best friend just got that awesome child electric car that you could drive around, you instantly wanted one. Why? Because it made your shitty remote controlled car thing look like a piece of unsophisticated junk. Now apply that thought process to bombs...
