2004 Corvette Co-Pilot Window?

Out of no where, the electric window in my ultra low mileage '04 Coupe won't go down. I've seen on some C-5 forums that a good hit to the motor or a full replacement is the order of the day. However, any other methods to get it to work and stay reliable? Thanks in advance.

its only a $270 or so part.no other way out but replace it.Make sure the window is lined up like it was when you get done,mark window position before removal.Dont be stingy with your car,pretty soon you will need a abs nodule$1000 part cost.diff cover seals leak,ac comp leak,water pump leak.

Any cheap rc cars with a pistol style controller under $50?

I am looking into buying an rc car for around $40-50. I want a pistol style controller with the wheel for turning. I want the scale of the car to be like 1:10-1:12. I would prefer having a sports car like a corvette, but I would also buy a truck if I can't find anything else. Don't post an answer saying "under $50 and good rc cars don't mix" or "Invest your money." I'm a 15 year old kid with no income, so I won't get anymore money for like a year. I just wanna buy an rc car. My mom won't bring me anywhere local to look, but I can buy stuff online at amazon.com and other stores like wal-mart or toysrus, or any other store that is trusted and online.

The Redcat Racing Sumo RC is a 1/24 scale electric that retails for around $50. However, Redcat has been out of stock for a while. Most shops don't have it and won't get restocked until late May. It isn't 1/10 scale, but it fits your budget. If you can wait a few weeks...it has a pistol grip transmitter and variable speed control. They're available in trucks and truggies.

But here are my observations:

1. I drive a specially modified 1996 minivan which is equipped with a motorized ramp for loading and unloading an electric wheelchair. The van is beaten up and torn up on the inside. Meanwhile, handicapped parking spaces are often occupied by brand-new Hummers, Lexus (spaceships-with-wheels) LS400's, Corvettes, or Jags. Why do most handicapped drivers own the newest (and most expensive) cars in the parking lots?

2. Memorial Herman Hospitals are torn down and rebuilt about once every two years, often incorporating elaborate (expensive) and eye-catching architectural structures, as well as fancy furnishings. If the Health-care industry is strapped for profits, how is it that hospitals can afford to do this perpetually?

3. Electric wheelchair makers and must take their customers through extensive security protocols in order to prevent fraudulent claims against Medicare. Why make things tougher for the actual customers instead of prosecuting the actual criminals so that the bureaucracy can spend money on its recipients instead of fighting losses with greater costs?

4. Members of Congress never have to shop around for new Health Insurance every two years like we voters have to shop around for new policies because our employers are looking to reduce costs without regard to decreasing levels of service. Now, our Government wants to fine its constituents for not having Healthcare coverage?

5. The Health Insurance industry has been a market for funding investment brokers with less regard for its intended customers, even to the point of regarding them with contempt. Is this perspective missing from the solutions being presented in Obama's efforts?

1. I agree with this, and to me when I see someone who has handicap and they have no visible sign (i.e. wheelchair, oxygen tank) I wonder why they would take a handicapped space. Especially when they can get out and dart faster then I can with my kids.

2. Agree, I also feel that hospital such as these hold monopolies and drive other smaller facilities out, or end up buying them up, slowly. Giving no choice to the consumer on the quality of there care.

3. Having a illness or lifetime alignment is like being sentenced to being guilty, there is always more paperwork. In proof there of, and prescription coverage.

I am a Type 1 diabetic, have had diabetes since I was a kid, I am thin, and do all that I can to keep healthy. None of my medication or health care costs are tax deductible like most, because I'm lumped together with type 2 diabetics, and the government looks at there illness as an overweight issue. A lifestyle choice. Keep in mind that Type 1 (not onset by Type 2) is an Auto Immune Disorder, so it is no fault, I guess I should blame my parents for bad genetics.

4. I couldn't believe it either.

5. Insurances company's are more then happy to reel in your monthly premium till you you all a sudden have a problem, then they overload you with having to make appeals, and count on time working against you.

Make my mustang faster (srs)?

I've got an 04 GT with a few mods
Headers, high flow cats, straight pipes, corsa tips
cold air intake, electric supercharger
diablo sport tuner
4.10 rear end with locker

i go out racing last night the only thing i could beat was a few other mustangs, everything with a small block chevy or mopar raped me. my friends keep telling me to get a ls1 car like a camaro or corvette but i love my blue oval. what can i do without breaking the bank to get a leg up on these guys

i got beat by a 99% stock 98 camaro with only a EGR block off and axle back exhaust from a 30 roll

before anyone laughs about the electic supercharger i bought it originally as a gag.. then on a dyno day we messed around with it.. we ran the vehicle with a baseline of 310hp to the rear wheels, if we removed the intake tube from throttle body it made 318hp to the rear wheels, adding the e-charger without it being on and with the filter it made 308hp to the rear wheels, turning the echarger on it made 321hp to the rear wheels, doing the same but removing everything infront of it we made 325hp to the rear wheels.. so a successful gain of 11hp to the rear wheels.. so it's not like it adds boost it just helps clear the flow of air after the filter.. i've since removed to toggle switch and it runs whever the car is on.. i've driven from atlanta to dallas fort worth with it on the whole way no problems at all

Street racing I take it? Racing from a dig. Thanks for helping keep my insurance rates up. It's "kids" like yourself racing on the streets (don't care if it's a long straightaway in the countryside) that get cops after guys like us that just want to take our musclecars out for a cruise and a lot of cops looking for any reason to pull us over. Take your go-cart to the track and quit street racing. Until then nobody should be helping you get faster.
