Which is better for the woods, nitro or electric rc trucks?

I always wanted to try nitro for the first time but I don;t know how good it is in the woods.

I have property around my house (20 acres) full of trails full of hills turns and roots and ruts.

The hills are not terrible steep but you wont see me running up them. I have been eyeing two rc trucks, one electric and one's nitro. My cousin brought his 4x4 rock crawler from amazon and it did great. Didn't get stuck. What would be a batter route to take. I want to take through often.

I don't need something extremely fast, but not extremely slow. I dont want to out walk it when its going up a hill. I know electric would do fine in the trails but i dont know if nitro could.

I have a battery powered 4WD RC Car with off road tyres that is great on dirt and grass. The battery technology is so good these days that it goes >50km/h which is way too fast for my young kids. Haven't tried the nitro ones as didn't want to mess around with fuel, the extra cost, noise, smell, etc. Good luck!

I'm going out on a limb here.
In the 5th grade, about 7 years ago, I read a book about a girl who goes to the mall and sees this electric blue vest. She tries it on and time around her stops. She ends up with the vest and every time she puts it on she has a flashback to a time when her mother was alive. Her mom tells her about some kind of alien invasion and she has to stop it. Later, the girl meets other kids with powers and they fight the aliens in the mall. She sends rc cars and robots to annoy the aliens. At the end the kids steal the alien ship and travel forward in time hundreds of years.
On the cover it had the title written in lightning and the girls hands with electricity arcing from hand to hand.
Near the begining of the book, she's with her dad and the car breaks down. Dad goes to a gasstation leaving her in the car. A bunch of punks walk up and start causing problems. Then they all get struck by lightning.
