Wally Rippel is shown explaining that the oil companies were afraid of losing out on trillions of dollars in potential profit from their transportation fuel monopoly over the coming decades, while the auto companies were afraid of losses over the next six months of EV production. Obama is actually giving automakers incentives to make these cars, this would have never happened under Bush, or any republican for that matter. Bush , Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, and Andrew Card, are all former executives and board members of oil companies.

are you kidding? they won't even admit it was reagan who killed carter's tax credit for homeowners who installed solar heating systems in their houses because it benefited ordinary americans instead of the oil and utility companies that republicans think should be the only recipients of government support and protection.

Can a car company sue you if you drive a car they don't want you to drive after sold?

There is an Electric car from the 90's college kids rebuilt it. Some of them we're sold on accident , others where crushed after the lease was up on them. The car company sent them a cease and desist after rebuilding the old broken down one that was left which was sold on accident to them. Can a car company sue/take away a car they sold to them?

The right to bring a lawsuit exists until it is proven that the lawsuit is without merit or standing. The outcome depends upon how title was transferred, and the obligations involved.
